Dear PVD

Can you believe it has already been two months since I moved? I'm not sure if you knew but I am no longer a Little Rhody resident. After almost nine weeks of being gone I realized how hard change can be.... And to think I packed all my things from the small island of Puerto Rico and made it all the way over here is kind of crazy if you ask me!

No matter where you go, it can take you some time to get used to new surroundings. I had embarked on my journey back in 2011 when I first moved. I never thought Providence would be my home for the six years but it was... and now, that I am miles away I miss it!

Dear Providence:

You were so much more than I would have ever dreamed of!

Thank you for introducing me to some pretty amazing people. From all over the globe, I met so many influential souls that will forever be a part of who I am. I have memories to last a lifetime and have experienced feelings I never thought to be possible.

To all of you that became a part of me during my journey in PVD, thanks for making a difference.

Maybe we sat together in class or happen to join the same sorority, or enjoyed a cocktail at a local spot, or danced together inside our favorite hole in the wall! Maybe, we got all dressed up for a runway show or met inside the oldest indoor mall of the nation (The Arcade). Whether we worked together, traveled together or simply just knew each other... thanks for making it worth my while!

To all of the amazing brands that have worked, collaborated or supported Gin & Topics! A HUGE THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! It means the world to have been able to start my own business in a city that will forever be a part of me, PVD.
