Prosciutto Pizza by F.I.G.
I am excited to have Michele back in Rhode Island in a few weeks. We have lots of new recipes you will be learning about in the blog. I have to admit not having a kitchen at the Arcade has forced me to try many new restaurants downtown, which I'm definitely not complaining about! Yes, I miss having a stove. In my last house I had a huge kitchen, including an island with stools where I would enjoy not only cooking for myself, but for my roommates or whoever happened to stop by the house around dinner time.
This is another of Michele's delicious recipes you should definitely try!
Until my next topic...

Hi everyone!
After a busy weekend I decided to make an easy pizza with prosciutto, goat cheese, and fig jam! I have seen the combination of prosciutto and fig before or even prosciutto and melon (which I love). I love the salty and sweet combination so I decided to whip up this quick pizza as a little appetizer for my family. I hope you enjoy it as much as they did!
Enjoy xoxo

Prosciutto Pizza
Ingredients:
1 package of pre-made Pizza dough from your local grocery store.
1/4 pound of Prosciutto di Parma
3 tablespoons of goat cheese
1 tablespoon of fig jam
1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon of fresh parsley (chopped)
Preparation:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Take your pre-made pizza dough and roll it out with some extra flour so it does not stick. Roll it out untill desired thickeness.
Put rolled out pizza dough in oven for 10 minutes on each side.
While dough is becoming golden brown, take the olive oil and fig jam and mix until they become a homogenous mixture.
Once both sides are slightly golden brown top one side with olive oil fig mixture, then the goat cheese (crumble it up, and spread evenly) and lastly the prosciutto. Place back into the oven for about 5 minutes or until the goat cheese is slightly melted.
Take out the pizza, top with some fresh parsley, for color and if you have some olive oil left drizzle it on top.
This recipe is so tasty and really easy too!
Enjoy :)
